Yep, it really is! My mom was really gung ho about attending the festivities, so we loaded up the car and headed out to the Sweetwater Alpaca Farm. There were actually three farms in the area, but Tim, the kids and I only made it to one. We saw people spinning alpaca fur into yarn and weaving with it. We learned a lot about alpacas. Go ahead...ask me anything!
For only $10,000 you can have an alpaca, too.
We all went to lunch, which was nice (except for the waitress that snapped), then Dani and my mom went to what was apparently *the* best alpaca farm ever. Who knew that there was more alpaca farm fun to be had?
