Yes, my baby turned 13...aack! As much as it is traumatizing to me, I am so proud of her and truly enjoying the young woman that she is becoming. To celebrate the occassion, she invited several of her friends over for a sleepover. The theme? Pink-and-brown-polkadot-candy-party. Creative. ;)
We decorated everything in pink and brown polkadots; the cupcake balloon was a total find - yay! They played a few icebreaker games and that's about all I can report on. At this age, you set everything up, supply them with ample food and beverages, then you go upstairs.
From what we could tell, there was dancing, singing, movie watching, a lot of laughing and finally sleeping (somewhere around 2 or 3 am).
