First stop: Carlsbad Flower Fields. Way too expensive for three adults for what it is. Took photos from the parking lot.
Second stop: Kels requested the Birch Aquarium. Love that! And very reasonable for how much you get to see! We were there for a couple of hours looking at everything.
Third stop: La Jolla for lunch. At Subway - woo hoo - fancy! We were trying to find the Children's Pool, but got turned around and saw the signs for something I have always wanted to see...
Fourth stop: Mount Soledad. It is a cool monument up on the top of a hill with a spectacular view of San Diego County. You can see to Mexico, to the ocean and to the mountains. Today was gorgeous and we took a ton of photos.
Fifth stop: the sea lions and tidepools at the Children's Pool at La Jolla Cove. Even saw a pup. Cute! A totally great day!
