It is a busy work time right now, but we are eeking out family time and enjoying it. Tonight, we loaded up the kids (and some cookies and peppermint hot cocoa) and headed out for free family fun. First stop was a cool Living Nativity. It was actually more than a nativity...you walk through the life of Jesus. They also had a "marketplace" with food and games for younger kids. Camel rides, too!
Then we drove over to "Christmas Card Lane" in Rancho Penasquitos. Each house in the subdivision has a wooden "card" on their lawn, and then the house is decorated in the same theme. No great photos from the night, but totally fun (right down to singing Christmas carols in the car). I know these family dates are becoming fewer, so I am appreciating them all the more.
