Kelsey went trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. Her friend came over and was dressed up as the Wicked Witch of the West. No, Molly did not go out as Toto, she just posed for pictures.
Kyle celebrated his first official non-trick-or-treating year by dressing up in his scariest costume - last year's zombie with the red eyes the glowed bright and then dim. He sat on a chair on the front porch with a bowl of candy and was perfectly still. If there were little kids, he did nothing when they took a treat. If the kids were old enough, when they reached for a candy, he scared them.
I spent a lot of the evening standing across the street, talking to my neighbors and watching the boy scare people. It was a crack up!
He also had his fair share of of misery...several people, including moms, dads and grandmas, walked up to him and poked him to see if he was real. I saw people prod him with a pitchfork, scream to see if he flinched and one group of kids threw a bunch of candy at him (mom was so supportive she ate the box of Junior Mints that bounced off of his nose).
One group of kids walked down the sidewalk across the street and he just slowly followed them with his eerie glowing eyes... they freaked. Very funny.
Hope you all had a good Halloween - save me an Almond Joy!!!

Kelsey makes a BEAUTIFUL Dorothy!!!!
I like Tim's costume the best! Alyssa was Dorothy last year- I'll have to send photos (or start a blog!)
When I worked during Fright Fest at Magic, it was so fun to watch the scary clowns and gargoyles come up behind people and scare the heck out of them. One girl got so scared she literally tried to jump into her boyfriends arms. When I would stand out and watch the scary people I made sure they knew I worked there, because they are not allowed to scare employees. lol But the kids looked great and Im glad they had a good time.
