...or rather, in a mission.
Over the years, we have visited several of California twenty-one Missions.
In the eight years we have lived in Oceanside, we have never been to the mission two blocks from our home: Mission San Luis Rey.
We also visited the historic Heritage Park, behind the mission. The sign said the buildings would be open to view, but that was not the case. It is hard to tell in the photo, but we were caught in a "leaf storm" during a large gust of wind. While not the big, exiting thing to see, I noted that it would make a great background for portraits. :)
