I was introduced to Facebook by a few of my students and I love it! Not only have I connected with old high school friends (like Classmates.com, but it's free), but there are also lots of fun applications. I have a "lil green patch" where you exchange plants with other friends and for every 10 plants, money is donated to save an acre of rainforest. (It is similar to the websites where you click to give a cup of rice or a free mammogram).
There are also applications where you can play games with your friends, or share quizes. You can also share photos or just say hello. Okay, I know I sound like a nut. I am not doing this justice. Anyhow, if and when you get on Facebook, send me a friend request!
