I wanted to call this post something about breasts and Vegas, but realized those kind of titles attract icky people to comment on my blog. I spent the last week with two of my favorite fellow lactation consultants and friends in Vegas at a lactation convention. Let me tell you, they had you hopping out of bed at 6:30 am, fed and in class by 8 am and attending lectures and demonstrations all day long non-stop. Barely time for a potty break. Holding the convention at the Red Rock Resort and Spa required much dedication and concentration. More than a few times, the big pretty pool beckoned to us, but we kept on schedule.

By Friday night, our brains were about to explode with knowledge and new information! For our own safety and that of our future patients, we enjoyed the pool, a little slots action and a nice dinner out with some time in the hotel club. There is nothing like dancing with a bunch of people to an amazing cover band to relax and refresh. Unfortunately, I do not recommend going to bed at 3 am when you have to get up again at 6:30. But it was well worth it!

If you ever have the opportunity to stay at thee Red Rock - take it! It is a gorgeous facility. These pix are not great, but I had to try a give you a glimpse of it!

our beds - seriously, the most comfortable matress I have ever been on
(they even have info on the table about how you can buy one for yourself!)

The walls of the bathroom were leather!

marble shower and tub - big fluffy robes and slippers for all!!

The pool from our window - those are little spa pools all around the main one
